01 / Before deletion

Cancel billing and preserve anything you need.

  • Cancel a Stripe Creator subscription in the account billing portal before it can renew again.
  • Cancel a grandfathered fStream subscription in Google Play. Account deletion cannot cancel store billing.
  • Download your account export from Account Settings if you want a copy of stored account metadata.
  • Download any fStream Cloud backups you want to retain.
  • Confirm that important recordings, fClip projects, exports, and local settings are backed up separately.

02 / Deletion steps

Delete from Account Settings.

  1. 01
    Open Account Settings

Go directly to Account Settings and sign in with Google, Twitch, or Kick if requested.

  2. 02
    Use a recent sign-in

For security, permanent deletion requires a browser sign-in completed within the previous 15 minutes.

  3. 03
    Confirm the identity

Enter the account email address and type DELETE FKEY ACCOUNT exactly.

  4. 04
    Submit permanent deletion

The account authority removes the identity and account-owned cloud data, invalidates sessions, and returns you to the sign-in page with confirmation.

03 / What is deleted

Shared account and fKey-hosted cloud records.

Identity and connections

Account profile, linked-provider records, stored provider credentials, link tickets, and active authorization requests.

Sessions and devices

Website, fStream mobile, and fStream, fRelay, fClip, or fChat product sessions and device approvals.

Preferences and history

Global preferences, privacy choices, subscription and usage records, settings snapshots, chat-source records, and retained account activity.

fKey-hosted backups

fStream Cloud recording records, upload state, and the recording objects stored for that account in fKey-managed cloud storage.

04 / What remains

External billing and files outside fKey storage.

  • Stripe and Google Play subscriptions remain subject to their billing records and refund requirements; Google Play subscriptions remain active until cancelled in Google Play.
  • Recordings, fClip projects, exports, settings, and other files stored on your devices are not changed.
  • Google Drive backup files remain in your Drive until you delete them there.
  • Copies already delivered to streaming platforms or destinations remain subject to those services and your controls there.
  • Minimal records may be retained only where required to prevent fraud, resolve billing integrity, meet legal duties, or document completion of a deletion request.

05 / If you cannot sign in

Recover a provider first, then use the same deletion control.

Try another provider already linked to the same fKey Account. If no linked provider is available, use the support channel in the official store or download listing for the product you use and request account-deletion assistance. Never send provider passwords, tokens, stream keys, or product-session credentials.

Disconnecting a provider or uninstalling an app does not delete the fKey Account. Only the permanent deletion control removes the shared identity.
